New to Dunwoody, was excited about the local pizza delivery but it was no bueno. ATL why can't you get pizza right??? :(

Great CUSTOMER SERVICE. Great ATMOSPHERE. Great BEER. Great FOOD. This place has everything that you could want and more in a pizza place. It also would be an excellent spot for watching sports. Plenty of TVs are all around the place for a great view at any seat. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. One thing above all I must mention is the fact that they have an excellent beer selection. They don't just have the run of the mill Budweiser and Coors products, but they have many different craft and micro brews as well. 2 thumbs up. Come in and try it. (They also have delivery).

Galla's has pizza, calzones, wings, beer, wine, etc. and all very high quality. It is a great place to bring family or to go on a casual date. There are TVs playing with plenty of seating for large parties if need be. The staff are friendly and inviting. Delivery is quick. I used to frequent the Marietta location and was thrilled to death that there was a Dunwoody location. My husband and I have eaten there once every week since we discovered it. I introduced him to Galla's and needless to say, he loves it too. Oh, and by the way, the calzones are HUGE! 2-3 people could share one.

if you're from Buffalo, NY (home sweet home) or just want plain good food with no frills - this is your staple place! i'm so excited this location opened up closer to me - i used to go to the Chamblee location and it was a drive. the pizza is delicious with some actual sauce on it! the pizza around GA has been so disappointing to me lately b/c they load the cheese on but skimp on sauce. Gallas does NOT do that. they do it RIGHT! beef on weck, chicken finger subs.....home sweet home! try it all. i have not had anything i didn't like there yet. they also have trivia on thurs and bingo on wed if you want to keep busy while you eat. this area has been lacking a good pizza place and it's finally here - thank yOU!!!

I visited Galla's for the first time today at lunch and was very pleased. My guest and I split a medium The Works pizza and a caesar salad. Both were great! The slate crust was new to me, but I loved it! Not too thick, not too thin, and a little crispy with abundant fresh-cut toppings and ample cheese. The salad was fresh, crisp and the caeser dressing was seriously good! Can't wait to go back and try more!

My husband and I went for lunch while he was on a business trip. After bringing our pizza the waitress took our receipt off the table. When we asked if we could get a receipt the waitress picked it out of the trash can, put it on my table and then tried to flatten out the wrinkles! SHE TOOK IT OUT OF THE TRASH AND PUT IT ON MY TABLE!!! I was appalled. I complained to the manager who didn't even care. So disgusting. Never again. Pizza was just ok anyways.

Great food and service. Love the pizza and the sandwiches. So glad they put a location in dunwoody...

I used to drive to Brookhaven for the pizza. My favorite is the meatball parmesan, the buffalo chicken pizza is a close second. I'm so glad this location opened up in dunwoody. They have the best pizza OTP.

I asked for my check and the waitress picked it out of the trash can, put it on my table and then tried to flatten out the wrinkles! SHE TOOK IT OUT OF THE TRASH AND PUT IT ON MY TABLE!!! I was appalled. I complained to the manager who didn't even care. I will never go there again!

Great neighborhood feel with excellent service and great specials. The small salads are large, cold and flavorful. I liked the pizza and will be back.. Also impressed by the cleanliness. Four stars.

I love this place! The pizza is great and the service is very good. We usually go here for either Bingo on Wednesdays or trivia on Thursdays. If not then, we will stumble in from time to time after a night in of drinking because it's walking distance from our house. This is definitely my go-to pizza place since moving to Mount Vernon!

Not really a fan of this place. I have been here a few times over the past two years only since it is across the street from my office. When I am tired of eating Chick Fil A, it is the closest casual lunch spot. My colleagues love the antipasta salad here. Ironically my meal is always the last one to show up whenever I come here. It does not make a difference whether I order first, middle, or last. This past Tuesday it was dress up like a cow day at Chick Fil A in order to get a free sandwich. Thought it was a joke but it must have been true because the line was soooo long at Chick Fil A that a lot of the overflow went to Gallas. Gallas was packed at noon. I was determined to order something that would not take long to make and not have to wait longer than my colleagues. In the past, every time I order a salad and pizza, it comes last to the table. The quality of the food is okay for the price but not worth the additional wait. This time I opted for the buffalo chicken wrap. It came 20 min after everyone at my table got their pizzas and salads. Ridiculous! The buffalo chicken wrap was average but again not worth the additional wait time. Begrudgingly I may come back here out of convenience and in an attempt to be a team player at work. I will stick to the antipasta salad which is probably the best thing on the menu. Hope my food will come in a timely manner next time!

If you're from Buffalo like I am, and are sick of being forced to east papa john's and pizza hut, or are just looking for a little taste of home this is place to go. The pizza and wings are as close as you'll get without going home. My only gripe is that chicken finger sub leaves a little to be desired. The flavor is good but it's all lettuce and not much chicken. Everything else however is phenomenal and this is the only place I will buy pizza and most certainly wings ( nobody else can get the wings right, always small and not crispy at all ). Thank you for a great experience every time!

The Philly Cheesesteak is cheesy, but good for a southern pizza joint. A good place to eat in Dunwoody.

Galla's is great! Came through for our soccer team this weekend with accommodations last minute. Great food - good service, and Bob likes to support the local community! Certainly will give this place my business!

Oh, Galla's, how to review you. My friends and I went here a few nights for BINGO. It's a fun time, a little hard to play while eating, so I suggest eating before hand. Overall, a fun night. Onto the food. Caprese salad - ok. Pizza? Not impressed. Service was also off the few times that we went. Needless to say, I probably won't be going back to gallas anytime soon. Still, if you're just in for some dessert and garlic bread with a glass of wine or a beer, BINGO can be fun.

Dined on 05/11/12 - Traveling from Chicago and was pleasantly surprised with the pizza!! The highlight was the cheesesteak!! That was delicious! Very affordable and fast delivery to hotel!!!

Convenient Location for a quick lunch for working folks, waiting staff is excellent..decent beer selection and pizza is inconsistent, as I have eaten here a few times. What put me off is that I noticed the staff greases all the pizza pans with something white and fluffy which looked like Crisco ( Hydrogenated Fat)!!..yikes...if that's true then this place is off my list...

Did Galla's for lunch today. Overall, I would say solid all around. Good pizza - not great, but good. Crust, cheese, and sauce were all good, but not great. I will say the BBQ Chicken pizza was excellent - one of the best I've had. A couple folks in the group I was with thought the veggie pizza was bland, but I kind of liked it (and I'm usually the first to complain of blandness). Pepperoni was pretty standard. Otherwise, the place is very clean, and they have a good TV setup - definitely a place I could see going to watch a game and have a beer and some pizza. It's not NY Style pizza, but that doesn't make it bad. In the same general area, it's better than Ray's and Johnny's (and considerably better than Dominoes/Pizza Hut/Papa John's) but not as good as Hearth or Napoli.

Blech! The only think passable is the pizza. Pasta dishes have ketchup for sauce, the sandwiches are tiny w/chewy meat, terrible calamari, high prices and the service is definitely not friendly. Save your money. Mellow mushroom is just around the corner.

came here a few times for lunch. they have a lunch special of $2 a slice with an additional charge for toppings. it's really good when i need to grab a quick bite in the area. i haven't tried their other items yet.

Nice little pizza shop in Dunwoody. The shop has lots of seating and delivers your food to your table once its ready which is nice. The only issue is that they don't time anything so if you are there with a group everyone's food shows up at different times. They are really good at letting you order custom slices and not just a whole pizza. The steak and chicken subs are also very good with plenty of meat. While I was there for business lunches I didn't get to try the very good selection of craft beers they had on tap, but I wished I had been able to.

Serious? SERIOUS? This reminds me of a frozen pizza, and the fact that this gets good reviews reminds me that we live in a world of Dominos and Papa Johns. The slices: tiny. The crust: looked and tasted premade or frozen. No end crust. Inferior ingredients throughout. Well...at least they have a great beer selection! I think not....from the NY Pizza Guy.

It's a pizza place to go to when you're around in the area and hungry, but I wouldn't go far or out of my way for it. Everything there but the pizza seems just a little too expensive. My boyfriend and I ordered a medium cheese pizza because there was no small size or by-the-slice on the menu. It was OK. Good enough, but nothing spectacular. If I'm around the area again, I would go. It's a step up from Papa John's but below Mellow Mushroom.

I went on a Saturday (or maybe it was a Sunday), so I was only able to get an individual pizza, not by the slice. I also ordered the garlic knots. The cashier was friendly and helped explain the menu. The service was pretty fast. The food was not my favorite. The garlic knots were delicious, except the marinara sauce had absolutly no flavor or seasoning. It was like dipping bread in stewed tomatoes...with too much water. The pizza wasn't that great either--it was a thicker crust and it just didn't have any flavor.

Very upset I tried to place an order with this location and they said they don't deliver to my address but I live 2.9 miles away (at least that's what yelp says) she gives me a number to the other location and the lady tells me that the first location I called delivers to my area smh not a good first impression dude.

I used the online order system to order my food - the interface is horrid, and it didn't have enough room for my full address. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan and the "garlic rolls". The rolls were inedible. They were very chewy and greasy (just biting into one and the oil oozed out, very unappetizing) and they were dusted with parmesan but frankly I couldn't taste the garlic. The chicken parmesan was only so-so. The sauce was uninspired, not many seasonings and it was crying out for more salt and pepper (and maybe basil and a little thyme) because it was very bland. The chicken itself was cooked well, and tender, but the breading was soggy and fell off the chicken breast. There also was no mozzarella or provolone cheese, only a sprinkling of grated Parmesan cheese, which isn't typical of the dish (the name is a misnomer). I probably would not order from them again.

Growing up in Chicago and living in LA most of my life, I know my pizzas. It's all about personal preference. Pizza was good, wings were good, but its a bit overpriced. Will go back for special deals only.

Went to Galla's because it was close to the office....had ben there once before, forgot what I ordered...tells you all you need to know about the 1st impression of the place. Chicken Parm sub, fries and a drink were $15 - no problem if it's good. Bread was average and blah. Sauce, Average and blah. Chicken, average and blah. (seeing the theme...?) Nothing horrible, didn't get sick or anything, place was clean, but completely average to below....but it was packed at lunch....guess clean and mediocre is acceptable for lunch in the area...

Three stars because it's the only place I know of even trying to represent Buffalo. I've been looking everywhere in and around ATL to find a real Chicken Finger Sub (CFS to all my Buffalonians) and real Buffalo style pizza. The good news is these things are on the menu. The bad news is they just aren't that good. Let's start with the CFS. The bread is all wrong. There is nothing worse than a CFS with a bready roll. It's def no Jim's or even a Mike's. It actually reminds me of a Wegmans CFS, which sounds like it would be good, but even the almighty Wegmans can do wrong, and CFS' are one of them. If you're from Buffalo you're nodding you're head. If you're not, just disregard this paragraph, you will never find a decent CFS outside of Buffalo. Now for the pizza. For everyone complaining about it being too cheesy and greasy, that's the point. Let me give you a little lesson: Buffalo sits in the middle between NYC and Chicago. Our pizza is a hybrid of the two, very thick, very cheesy, generous with toppings, but not a deep dish. It sits somewhere in the middle. It's not easy to make and probably more expensive to make than the thin crust barely anything on it pizzas around here. But even after all that, I still don't think Galla's pizza is up to par. It's not bad, but it's nothing special. My hopes were too high.

Chris W.
First of all, let me tell you that Galla's food doesn't accurately represent what you would get from a Buffalo area pizzeria. Galla's pizza is "Buffalo style" which doesn't mean it's what all pizza is like in Buffalo. Compared to Buffalo: Galla's large pizza is only 16" while most Buffalo shops are 17", 18" or even larger. You won't find any pizzeria passing off a 16" pizza as a large in Buffalo. Also, you would find much more flavor in the pizza. The crust on Galla's pizza was lacking and they didn't use any spices to give their pizza any flavor. They also cut their pizza into 12 squares or 12 slices. All Buffalo area pizzerias cut their pizza's into 8 slices with the exception of Just (the worst)Pizza. The chicken fingers I had were OK...nothing special. Compared to Atlanta: This might be one of the best pizzerias in all of metropolitan Atlanta. You wouldn't go here for a"New York" style pizza. Stop leaving this place bad reviews because you moved from New York City and you think your pizza is better than all others. If you aren't familiar with Buffalo style pizza, Google Bocce club, Leonardi's, or Picassos. You will find some pictures of some of the most amazing Pizza's you have ever seen.

My office orders Galla's Pizza all the time because it's one of the few places in the Perimeter area that will deliver food. I kinda have a love/hate relationship with this place because we order it so often at work. However, when it's the weekend and I don't want to cook. And he doesn't want to cook. And we want to eat pizza. And we don't want Papa John's. And we don't eat Pizza Hut...what's left? (Besides Mellow Mushroom). The pizza at Galla's is good. Chewy crust and they mix flavor/toppings well with their specialty pizzas. On this particular occasion, I ordered the Steak and 3 Cheese pizza. Remember how I said I have a love/hate thing with Galla's? This is probably THE pizza that displays it. I gave into the steak thing because it's different AND you can add hot peppers to it. Spicy pizza is my thing. I did my order online, picked it up, and when I had it in my car, that's when I started hating it. There's something stinky about that cheese especially when it's just out of the oven and sitting in the carton. But we dug right into it and it was so good. I think the only thing I might dislike is it they they cut their pizza into squares. I know you can request to have it cut into the traditional triangular slices, but I always forget to ask. One can't fully enjoy the crust if he/she gets a center piece. Anyway, besides the Steak and 3 Cheese, I've had some other off-the-wall pies like the Eggplant Parmigiana or the Buffalo Chicken pizzas. They sound weird, but they're tasty. I think I'll continue my love/hate relationship with Galla's. I might actually be sad if they disappeared.

Good tasting pizza at a fair price. I had a couple slices of sausage and mushroom off the lunch menu. Served up piping hot with great service. The pie slices were flavorful but not spectacular.

Very good pizza,however----- Went to this location with a friend. Pizza is a little expensive, atmosphere great. I would recommend this pizza as take-out only, though, as you pay first when you order and then sit down. Pizza does come to the table, and that's it. If you want more to drink or a box to take home you fend for yourself. They kinda forget about 'ya. !

"A lovely cheese pizza, just for me." -- Home Alone (1990) I have been eating Galla's Pizza for years, but until now had never walked in the door. On this occasion I had placed an online order (wow the convenience) and was going in to pick it up (I live outside the delivery area, which is sad). This is where they fall short. I walked in at 12:45pm on a Tuesday and the line was to the door (almost going out the door). First, there is no where for the line to go because there is a bookshelf right by the door. This is a problem as people are trying to leave and there is a line of people waiting to order. Second, there was one girl working the register and no place for me to go but to wait in the line. I had ordered, paid and my pizza was sitting there (on a warming shelf) and I had to wait for 8 people to place ordered before I could get my pizza. This took 12 minutes. There should be a place for me to walk up and grab my order and not wait in the line - period. Once it was my turn, it took less than a minute for the woman to check my order and give it to me. Now let's talk food - I love their pizza. They have a ton of Specialty Pizzas, but you can also build your own. Their ingredients are always fresh and flavorful, crispy yet chewy crust and a fabulous selection of cheeses. My favorites are: White Pizzas: Chicken in the grass - olive oil, Italian spices, Romano cheese, covered in roasted spinach and grilled chicken, and topped with four imported cheeses. The Sicilian -sliced tomatoes, Italian olive oil, Italian spices, Romano cheese, onions and green peppers, pepperoni. Note: you can get this with hot peppers if you prefer and sausage if you prefer. I like it with the green peppers and the pepperoni, myself. Spinach and Ricotta - Oven roasted spinach, fresh mushrooms and onions mixed over creamy ricotta cheese and then covered with mozzarella. Red Pizzas: The Works - red sauce, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, fresh mushrooms, green and black olives, green peppers, onions, and Italian sausage. And my favorite: Meatza Pizza - red sauce, creamy mozzarella, pepperoni, ham, bacon, sausage, and ground beef. The oddball that I enjoy: BBQ Chicken - grilled chicken marinated in smokey barbecue sauce covered with mozzarella and onions, topped with bacon and cheddar cheese. I know, it sounds weird, but it's pretty damn good. I also enjoy their salads a lot. I usually get the Greek and add artichoke hearts. My only complaint is that they use canned black olives instead of kalamatas. It isn't a true Greek salad without kalamatas. Those canned ones taste like the can, unfortunately. But I enjoy the salad nonetheless. Overall, Galla's is a solid pizza joint with great food offerings. They just have got to fix their in-house service. I do need to come in and dine, but I just did not have the time yesterday. I will give them a shot to serve me on site. However, make a pick up line, Galla's. I saved you time ordering online and you didn't have to process my credit card or take my order. Least you could do is help me out by not letting my pizza get cold and let me run in and grab my food. And give the poor girl up front some help!!

Soooooo, I hate to do this but after driving out of my way for a "great" pizza, I had to say it... I ordered a large split toping pizza and sadly it was not well seasoned at all. Not only that but when I walked inside, the vibe was so not good. The guy at the front didn't seem too thrilled to see me and took his sweet time tending to me. SMH- for $19 I think I'll be going someplace much closer and of better quality.

I discovered this place after moving to Dunwoody recently,,and so far its the best pizza we have found. The wings were great too, and we are picky wing eaters,,and were pleasantly surprised that a pizza place had such great wings,,although we've only been twice,,it was great both times, and even my kids loved it!

If you do not mind an over priced under topped pie.... then you came to the right place. All in all the pie was good the ovens need to be set up better ie. More top heat !!! Oh yeah i get it about the crappy service.... the guy who took my order had a bit of an arrogant prick syndrome. If you do not want people at the counter so long make a shorter menu for take outs. AND FOR CHRIST SAKE LEARN HOW TO CUT A DAMN PIE! !!
(3)
Amina M.
Went to this place with a group and even though I've seen this place many times, this was my first time stopping through. Only two complaints...one, you order at the register and the menu is really long. I would suggest hanging a huge, much simpler menu above so that you can be more prepared when you get to the cashier like most pizza places do. Two, the pizza isn't great...it's too much cheese, which can make your pizza really greasy. Don't have any suggestions for the way it's prepared.

Just came here an grabbed a to go order because I was in a bit of a rush, I got the caprese chicken philli because I decided to get something different. It was not worth it. First off. Aren't these things supposed to be toasted and warm? My chicken (if I can even call it that) was cold along with my bread) my cheese wasn't even melted. I don't see how they could mess up my order because when I got there, i was literally the only one in the restaurant. However there pizza is pretty good. But that's about it.

Their food is really good, and I usually order delivery from them for lunch. Actually have ordered quite a bit from them. Today I had a bad customer service experience, though, and it kind of turned me off. As much as our office orders from them, they would not take two orders from us. Not only that, but the guy was pretty rude about it stating that he was not going to do that during the busy lunch hour. Really? So you'd rather only have one order from us and not two? What would be the difference if we had hung up and called back for the second order? Would someone tell us only one person can order from our office at a time? Interesting. I understand busy, but not wanting to take two separate orders is a little counterproductive for business. Anyway, I will find somewhere else to order from.

Hailing from the food metropolis of BUFFALO NY ( trust me on this ) . GOOD pizza which means pizza reminiscent of buffalo is hard to find in Atlanta. Then one day this guy recommended GALLAS!!! My life has forever been changed. I no longer go through pizza withdrawal here in GA. Pizza is amazing hands down best in ATL. I eat here at least twice a week. I don't stray far from the curb here though. I always get a large pizza dbl pep and wings hot and crispy . They use franks red hot sauce , and being from Buffalo anything less is sac religious . Service is always fast and friendly. If you're from Buffalo this is the closet to home you're going to get , if you're from Ga try it , thank me later but you're welcome in advance. Did I mention that they use franks red hot !!!! I put that $h!+ on everything!!! Eat well my friends!

"Do not eat garlic or onions; for their smell will reveal that you are a peasant." - Cervantes, Don Quixote I checked in with Yelp and got free garlic knots, and then every other place I checked in to that day became subject to my garlic breath! SUPER garlicy, but that is how this peasant likes 'em! Galla's serves up decent pizza, for some reason I prefer the Peachtree Rd location slices. Service at the counter here is very friendly. Great beer specials. Between cheap beer and cheap lunch specials, lunch money goes far here. Galla's, good food for the downtrodden.

This place rocks! Great pizza and wings. Just wish they had a location in Sugar Hill too now that we moved out of Dunwoody! My wife is from Buffalo and anytime we're in Dunwoody we have to come here. Friendly staff and quick for lunch.

Being from Buffalo, my hopes are always high when I eat here. Unfortunately, I am always disappointed. The wings are just okay but the salads and blue cheese dressing lack. Three Dollar Cafe is far superior and worth the extra few miles drive.

We have been struggling to find a good pizza place that delivers to our house for under $20 for a large pizza. Galla had two of the three requirements...they delivered to our house and the total price was like $18 for a large and garlic rolls. The pizza was...different. The sauce was kinda sweet. The crust was bland and too chewy. We also got the garlic roll (fried dough) which looked great...but they were so greasy, you could wring the out. Over all, just disappointed. The search continues.

Been here twice. Blatant ripoff. Low quality small portions and overpriced. What a shame.

We visited Galla's for the first time this weekend and enjoyed it. The pizza is very good; they serve beer and wine, and have plenty of flat screen TVs to watch the game. Service is minimal, but the cups and plates are in the dining room for you to serve yourself and it's very kid friendly. My only two complaints, and they're minor, are that the front counter is kind of awkward and they slice the pizza in squares instead of triangles. If you're in Dunwoody and want a good pizza in a casual environment, you should give this place a try.

Very large portions, I had three meals out of the sausage and peppers I ordered. Unfortunately, the marinara sauce was at best mediocre and I had to add spices to it just to make it palatable. I've had much better

Dude. I really like Galla's! I am sad to see a random sampling of negative reviews. One important thing to note, about my Galla's experiences: I have only ever ordered Delivery - Never visited the actual location. So, as far as ordering, COWABUNGA! (Pizza-loving, green, masked hero reference.) First, I love any biz that lets me order online. Blahblahtechnologyrulesourlivesblahblah I don't care, I love that I don't have to dial, speak, repeat myself, read my CC outloud, confirm my address or phone number outloud and hope they got it all right... Internet rules. So easy. On top of that, they get faster, I think, everytime I order. Granted, they're like a 7 minute drive from me.. but their blind estimate is 60 minutes and it has probably only ever been between 20-45 minutes. Today being record time.. I didnt even get a chance to put a bra on to answer the door WOO. Next point: the pizza is good. I have had pepperoni and bacon, separately. Both good.. saucy but not excessive or chunky.. majority of bacon is crunchy but not completely burnt (YUM) and pepperoni is standard and good. Last but not least, convenient for a group of snackers or drinkers. This round pizza is cute in many smaller squares so you get more "servings" than if it were cut into 6-8 big slices. I dig Galla's... fast, tasty, convenient.. I look forward to a less lazy day when I can use that check in deal.

Love This Place! I live close so I either come in or order deliver and I have yet to be disappointed. They have never messed up my order, even when I have multiple items on the order. (for my coworkers and myself) Food is always fresh and tasty! Thank you! Keep up the good work!

Great "slate Pizza". Wings are very good and the Best Beef on Wick, South of Buffalo. A real memory of Genesee Beer and Sabres Hockey. If there was a "Swiss Chalet" across the street and 8 inches of snow on the ground you could be in Upstate New York. Try this place, just about everything on the menu is a real treat.

Ok I must say I ordered take out ....an they still honored the check in special where I got the garlic knots....Now those are good...but greasy so I could not have much of them ...I ordered a medium cheese and a medium pepperoni for me and my roommate...That was a lot of pizza....we got so much leftovers... The pizza was good I don't know why some gave them bad reviews ...it was just what I expected as I no longer order commercial pizza like Papa Johns, Dominoes and Pizza Hut those all taste like crap. .Galla's pizza taste like New York style pizza just what I was looking for only they cut theirs in squares as oppose to pie shaped but they do cut in pie shapes slices at your request.... Now its time for seconds before I hit the sack....I had to satisfy my pizza craving but I will work all this off tomorrow in the gym.

The wings, the wings, the wings!! The hub and I ordered delivery from this location while in the hospital. We chose lemon pepper wings and a medium pizza. As you can see from my first sentence, the wings were on point! With delivery, sometimes things can cool down or lose their crispness, but that wasn't the case. They put the wings in a pizza box lined with foil and they were still very crispy and hot. The pizza was still hot also with gooey cheese and crisp pepperoni. I'd dine in or order delivery again in a heartbeat.

The management at this pizzeria is terrible. We ordered a Pizza last night from there and the corner of the pizza box was leaking grease. When we brought it inside and opened the box, the pizza had shifted and it wasn't cut at all. The grease got all over my wife's clothes and they didn't seemed phased by it. They told us they would make us a new pizza and give us a coupon book for our next visit. I spend my time to drive back over there and get the new pizza and they acted like this has happened before. The coupon book they gave us expires at the end of May. The owner is from Buffalo and I have moved down here from Buffalo as well and this is not the hospitality that you would get from a fellow Buffalonian. Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else where they will treat you with respect and care when their employees mess up.

Best pizza I've ever had! The trip is worth it! We live in Smyrna but make the drive for THE best pizza! The Hawaiian is the best I've ever had. Keeps us coming back. Their calamari is different but good. Wings are fantastic! Haven't had a bad experience yet, don't think that's even possible here. It's a kiddy hang out so come early or late to avoid them if your not the "kiddy type". The food is just that good we don't really care about the kids running around much. Must come here and give it a try! PERIOD!

If you're looking for the same kind of pizza you'd find at the best pizza joints in Buffalo, NY then this is THE ONLY place in Atlanta to go. The pizza is amazing! Even if you have no idea what pizza is like in Buffalo, you won't find better pizza anywhere in Atlanta. I've tried, and Galla's is the best, hands down.

Sorely disappointed with the pizza. I ordered one cheese slice, and one slice with pineapple and tomatoes. The pineapple was almost luke-warm, and I think that was only because it was sitting on top of the warm cheese. The tomatoes were large slices that made the pizza soggy and hard to eat. The slices are large, the staff is very friendly, but the food is not worth it.

I selected 1 star because Yelp does not have an option lower than that. If you have Ever tried pizza, there is NO need to eat here. If you've only had frozen pizza from a grocery store, you've still had better pizza than this place has to offer. It seems to be kid oriented, so I am guessing this is why quantity is the focus rather than quality. Atlanta has hundreds of pizza restaurants to choose from. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Absolutely nothing worth eating here. You are welcome

Tried this place by accident. Ran into this place because of an appt previously set. Had about an hour to kill and was hungry so decided to check it out. Especially because of the Yelp check in offer. Free half order of garlic naughts. So walk up to the register to order their special for that day... It was a Sunday so the special was a one topping medium pizza with 10 piece wings. But the cashier tells me that I can't combine a check in special with the daily special. Was a little disappointed but I order anyways... Found out it was only about 4$ diff. Long story short ... We ordered lemon pepper wings. Loved them because they cooked the wings crispy ... Js the way I like. The seasoning perfect. Pizza also good. I especially loved the fact the pizza breading was crunchy. Almost like a pizza pretzel. Different style of pizza. Garlic naughts ... Too greasy but good. Overall love the pizza ... Because it's different. Liked the place. Provides a good local pizza bar vibe... Yet family friendly.

pretty much disappointing all the way around -- even the location is weird. i drive by this area all the time and never knew it was there. when you walk in, you order up front and get seated. if you get a drink, self-serve. if you order food that requires utensils, self-serve. i was really surprised you don't walk up to a window and pick up your food yourself. if that's the kind of establishment it is, that's cool. i can get totally used to that. in order to do so though... you have to have memorable food. i don't want to say their food was bad... but it was definitely -not- memorable. oh well. :o) sticking with napoli...

I have lived near this Galla's for several years now, and if one thing is certain with them they are consistent. I will say that I actually have only rarely ordered their pizza. Instead, I have grown quite find of their (Chicken) Philly cheesesteaks. I used to work in the office buildings across the street as well and we would have several clients come in from overseas and I had recommended the philly for them. I found myself making daily orders for lunch the rest of the week afterwards.

My review actually leans more towards 2.5 stars than 3. Wasn't all that impressed with this place. Had the garlic rolls to start & thought they didn't taste that good. And waaaay too garlicky. The taste of them stayed with me well into the next day. The pizza was fine, just nothing I'd rush back for. I've had much better elsewhere. Edges were too overcooked in my opinion. Pepperoni slices were a lot smaller than any I've seen on any other pizza, and many of them were overcooked as well. Won't be back for another visit.

I always liked the Chamblee location and food, and now I have a Galla's a mile from my house. Is this a great country or what? I like this place. It is almost a perfect neighborhood "joint". It is very clean, has fast service on the food, great selection of beers, and excellent food. I am a big fan of their tomato basil pizza. For my taste, it is about the perfect pizza. It is very like a pizza you would get in Italy. Great wings as well. Oh yeah, they cut the pizza in squares. If this freaks you out, you should stay away. Ignore any scoffers who have written bad reviews. What makes them the smartest person in the room? Try this place, you won't be sorry you did.

Worst pizza I ever ate. I have had frozen pizza better than this (in fact, I'm not sure that the dough was not pre-made and frozen). Toppings were not fresh-tasting, and the crust, the heart of every good pizza, was a close second to cardboard. Tried the garlic knots, Yuck. Tasted like they were fried, then soaked in salted garlic butter. For those of you who gave this place five stars, eat up while you can. I don't think this place will be here in six months. Others, do yourself a favor. If you're in the neighborhood and crave a good pie, drive a bit further to Hearth in Sandy Springs.

Terrible pizza - like the kind from a cheap cafeteria. Really, how hard is it to make good pizza?

New to Dunwoody, was excited about the local pizza delivery but it was no bueno. ATL why can't you get pizza right??? :(

Consistently great pizza. I will continue to come back! The salads are fresh and yummy, too!

I have always loved the Galla's in Chamblee so this one no dought has a great staff and awsome food.

I probably would not order from them again.

if you're from Buffalo, NY (home sweet home) or just want plain good food with no frills - this is your staple place! i'm so excited this location opened up closer to me - i used to go to the Chamblee location and it was a drive. the pizza is delicious with some actual sauce on it! the pizza around GA has been so disappointing to me lately b/c they load the cheese on but skimp on sauce.

I used to drive to Brookhaven for the pizza. My favorite is the meatball parmesan, the buffalo chicken pizza is a close second. I'm so glad this location opened up in dunwoody. They have the best pizza OTP.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

(5)Laura J.

(5)Amy T.

(1)Mike W.

(5)Joel R.

Four stars.
(4)Paul H.

(3)Chris L.
Galla's is great! Came through for our soccer team this weekend with accommodations last minute. Great food - good service, and Bob likes to support the local community! Certainly will give this place my business!
(5)Katherine M.
(2)John S.
Dined on 05/11/12 - Traveling from Chicago and was pleasantly surprised with the pizza!! The highlight was the cheesesteak!! That was delicious! Very affordable and fast delivery to hotel!!!
(3)Ron S.
(2)Kirk L.
(3)Cindy M.
Consistently great pizza. I will continue to come back! The salads are fresh and yummy, too!
(4)Jeremy T.
I have always loved the Galla's in Chamblee so this one no dought has a great staff and awsome food.
(5)Jeremy S.
Blech! The only think passable is the pizza. Pasta dishes have ketchup for sauce, the sandwiches are tiny w/chewy meat, terrible calamari, high prices and the service is definitely not friendly. Save your money. Mellow mushroom is just around the corner.
(1)Shazia T.
came here a few times for lunch. they have a lunch special of $2 a slice with an additional charge for toppings. it's really good when i need to grab a quick bite in the area. i haven't tried their other items yet.
(4)Chris C.
(4)Robert M.
Serious?
(1)Adina S.
(3)Talmo F.
(2)Vanity E.
Very upset I tried to place an order with this location and they said they don't deliver to my address but I live 2.9 miles away (at least that's what yelp says) she gives me a number to the other location and the lady tells me that the first location I called delivers to my area smh not a good first impression dude.
(1)Justin S.
(2)Coco B.
Growing up in Chicago and living in LA most of my life, I know my pizzas. It's all about personal preference. Pizza was good, wings were good, but its a bit overpriced. Will go back for special deals only.
(3)Ken K.

(3)Chris W.

(4)Doug B.
Good tasting pizza at a fair price. I had a couple slices of sausage and mushroom off the lunch menu. Served up piping hot with great service. The pie slices were flavorful but not spectacular.
(3)Scott B.

(3)Kena V.
(3)Michael C.
I discovered this place after moving to Dunwoody recently,,and so far its the best pizza we have found. The wings were great too, and we are picky wing eaters,,and were pleasantly surprised that a pizza place had such great wings,,although we've only been twice,,it was great both times, and even my kids loved it!
(4)Ian R.
(3)Amina M.
(2)Morgan T.
(1)Anon A.

(5)Lou G.
(4)Samantha H.
No. Bad. Greasy. So so very greasy. I stopped in because I've been trying to find good pizza around Dunwoody, but this is not it.
(1)Michael C.
This place rocks! Great pizza and wings. Just wish they had a location in Sugar Hill too now that we moved out of Dunwoody! My wife is from Buffalo and anytime we're in Dunwoody we have to come here. Friendly staff and quick for lunch.
(5)Luis C.
Being from Buffalo, my hopes are always high when I eat here. Unfortunately, I am always disappointed. The wings are just okay but the salads and blue cheese dressing lack. Three Dollar Cafe is far superior and worth the extra few miles drive.
(3)Brooke A.
(3)Eric P.
Been here twice. Blatant ripoff. Low quality small portions and overpriced. What a shame.
(1)Matt B.
(3)Kristen T.
Very large portions, I had three meals out of the sausage and peppers I ordered. Unfortunately, the marinara sauce was at best mediocre and I had to add spices to it just to make it palatable. I've had much better
(2)Heidi P.
(4)Elena E.
Love This Place! I live close so I either come in or order deliver and I have yet to be disappointed. They have never messed up my order, even when I have multiple items on the order. (for my coworkers and myself) Food is always fresh and tasty! Thank you! Keep up the good work!
(5)Patrick S.
I love coming here. That staff is friendly, the food is consistent and good - get some wings!!! The pizza and salads are great. Overall a go-to for me for game days
(4)Tim H.
Great pizza! We live nearby and won't order pizza from anywhere else. Pizza is great, make sure to order the garlic rolls too! They have trivia on Saturday nights.
(5)David G.
(4)Attaicus C.

(5)Lisa M.

(4)Laura T.

(4)Terry F.

(1)Carolina M.
(4)Doug B.
Good tasting pizza at a fair price. I had a couple slices of sausage and mushroom off the lunch menu. Served up piping hot with great service. The pie slices were flavorful but not spectacular.
(3)Scott B.
(2)Kena V.
(4)Joel R.
(1)Kelly C.
Great neighborhood feel with excellent service and great specials. The small salads are large, cold and flavorful. I liked the pizza and will be back.. Also impressed by the cleanliness. Four stars.
(4)Paul H.
(5)Julee D.
(2)Ian R.
(3)Kenny C.
(3)Coco B.
Growing up in Chicago and living in LA most of my life, I know my pizzas. It's all about personal preference. Pizza was good, wings were good, but its a bit overpriced. Will go back for special deals only.
(3)Ken K.
(2)Chris W.

(3)Amina M.
(2)Morgan T.
(1)Anon A.

(3)Eric P.
Been here twice. Blatant ripoff. Low quality small portions and overpriced. What a shame.
(1)Matt B.
(3)Kristen T.
Very large portions, I had three meals out of the sausage and peppers I ordered. Unfortunately, the marinara sauce was at best mediocre and I had to add spices to it just to make it palatable. I've had much better
(2)Lisa M.

(5)Heidi P.
(5)David G.

(2)Vanity E.
Very upset I tried to place an order with this location and they said they don't deliver to my address but I live 2.9 miles away (at least that's what yelp says) she gives me a number to the other location and the lady tells me that the first location I called delivers to my area smh not a good first impression dude.
(1)Ifeoma W.
New to Dunwoody, was excited about the local pizza delivery but it was no bueno. ATL why can't you get pizza right??? :(
(2)Kirk L.
(4)Chris C.
(4)Robert M.
Serious?
(1)Laura J.
(5)Paul D.
(4)St C.
The Philly Cheesesteak is cheesy, but good for a southern pizza joint. A good place to eat in Dunwoody.
(3)Laura T.
(3)Amy T.
(4)Michelle R.
(1)Adina S.
(3)dohrman c.
(4)Terry F.
(1)M B.
Terrible pizza - like the kind from a cheap cafeteria. Really, how hard is it to make good pizza?
(1)Justin S.
I probably would not order from them again.

if you're from Buffalo, NY (home sweet home) or just want plain good food with no frills - this is your staple place! i'm so excited this location opened up closer to me - i used to go to the Chamblee location and it was a drive. the pizza is delicious with some actual sauce on it! the pizza around GA has been so disappointing to me lately b/c they load the cheese on but skimp on sauce.
(5)Ron S.
(2)Chris L.
Galla's is great! Came through for our soccer team this weekend with accommodations last minute. Great food - good service, and Bob likes to support the local community! Certainly will give this place my business!
(5)Katherine M.
(2)John S.
Dined on 05/11/12 - Traveling from Chicago and was pleasantly surprised with the pizza!! The highlight was the cheesesteak!! That was delicious! Very affordable and fast delivery to hotel!!!
(3)Mike W.
Great food and service. Love the pizza and the sandwiches. So glad they put a location in dunwoody...
(5)n y.
I used to drive to Brookhaven for the pizza. My favorite is the meatball parmesan, the buffalo chicken pizza is a close second. I'm so glad this location opened up in dunwoody. They have the best pizza OTP.
(5)Luis C.
Being from Buffalo, my hopes are always high when I eat here. Unfortunately, I am always disappointed. The wings are just okay but the salads and blue cheese dressing lack. Three Dollar Cafe is far superior and worth the extra few miles drive.
(3)Brooke A.
(3)Eric P.
Been here twice. Blatant ripoff. Low quality small portions and overpriced. What a shame.
(1)Matt B.
(3)Kristen T.
Very large portions, I had three meals out of the sausage and peppers I ordered. Unfortunately, the marinara sauce was at best mediocre and I had to add spices to it just to make it palatable. I've had much better
(2)Heidi P.

(5)Paul H.
(5)Julee D.
(2)Ian R.
(3)Amina M.
(2)Kenny C.
(3)Coco B.
Growing up in Chicago and living in LA most of my life, I know my pizzas. It's all about personal preference. Pizza was good, wings were good, but its a bit overpriced. Will go back for special deals only.
(3)Ken K.
(2)Morgan T.
(1)Anon A.
(2)Chris W.

(3)Carolina M.
(4)Doug B.
Good tasting pizza at a fair price. I had a couple slices of sausage and mushroom off the lunch menu. Served up piping hot with great service. The pie slices were flavorful but not spectacular.
(3)Scott B.
(2)Kena V.
